Giving a second life to our biowaste
At Relais Christine, we strive to ensure that every action contributes to more sustainable luxury. With this in mind, we've implemented a system for collecting and recycling our biowaste in partnership with a specialized company. Every day, organic waste from our kitchen and service areas is carefully sorted before being transformed into compost, giving natural materials a second life. This responsible approach is part of our commitment to reducing our environmental footprint while actively participating in nature's virtuous cycle.
How is our waste recycled?
Our biowaste is no longer an end in itself, but the beginning of a virtuous cycle. Carefully collected, it is transported to a methanization plant in Villefranche-du-Lauragais, in Haute-Garonne, where it is transformed into green energy. This natural process not only recycles our waste but also produces clean biomethane, thereby reducing greenhouse gas emissions. It also contributes to improving soil and air quality thanks to a natural fertilizer, while supporting sustainable agriculture and local jobs. An elegant and committed alternative that combines refinement and environmental responsibility.
